INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING OUT A NEW HELPDESK REQUEST

         Accessing Computer Network Services Helpdesk for staff.

 

1.)    Open up Internet Explorer

 
  

2. ) Type in the following Address
http://helpdesk.sboe.org

 ( The page can also be accessed by going to http://www.sboe.org and clicking on InfoTech> helpdesk link)

 

 

3.)  Click enter a new request

 

4.) Type in your network user account. (Same account used to login to a computer)

 

5.) Type in your SBOE email. (Make sure it is correct) AND DO NOT FORGET TO ADD @sboe.org after your user id Please Double Check all information before clicking OK – THIS ONLY NEEDS TO BE FILLED UP THE FIRST TIME YOU USE THE SYSTEM.

 

6.) This is your work order request page. Please provide as much detailed and accurate information as possible so your tech coordinators will be able to resolve your issue quickly.  If they cannot resolve your issue, it will be routed to the I.T. Department. 

 
 


 

To obtain your computer name:

Click on the My Computer Icon on the desktop.  Find the X: Drive. Double Click on System info icon. Note the computer name
